Booking terms and conditions – Rachel Kerslake Art

Payment
Sessions are offered in six-week course blocks, largely within the school holidays. Full payment will be taken at time of booking (this is non-refundable or transferable to a different course). There are no refunds once payment is made, however if there is a waiting list and the place can be filled, a refund can be arranged – but this is a gesture of goodwill and not part of the booking terms and conditions. You will get the most out of the course by attending all the sessions. If you are unable to attend one or more of the sessions, unfortunately we cannot refund you for that session. This is because class sizes are small and it is not suitable to deliver
this course on a drop-in basis.

If any sessions have to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, you will, of course, receive a refund in full for that session. Or the session will be rescheduled to suit as many of the course attendees as possible.

We operate a PayPal system for payments for all courses. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make a payment – when you check out with PayPal, you will be given the option to pay with a debit or credit card. You can then enter your payment details just as you would with other online stores. PayPal processes the payment securely, but you don’t need a PayPal account for the transaction.

Materials
Basic materials will be available; and we recommended that you also bring your own papers and art materials to support the work you want to do. A suggested list will be emailed to all participants in advance of the course start date. Under 16s must be accompanied by a participating, paying adult.

Please be aware that the artist retains the intellectual property to their own ideas.

Clothing
Some of the paints we will be using, such as acrylics, do not wash out of clothes. We recommend that you wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on and/or an artist’s (or any sort of) apron.

Expectation of all participants
The aim of the classes is to give participants a creative and enjoyable experience when they are at the studio. If a participant is rude, disruptive or generally unpleasant or difficult, they will be refused a further booking onto future sessions.

Parking
The site is very busy during the day and participants are asked to park in the furthest car park, next to the café and shop. Turn right as soon as you come into the main entrance and you will see the hard-core areas. Please park in the one next to the fields. Parking onsite is free.
